Dua Lipa saved her main ceremony look for last: a custom Chanel haute couture gown that also became a first for designer Matthieu Blazy.
Her wedding wardrobe unfolded across two celebrations. Lipa officially married Turner in London on May 31. For that ceremony, she chose a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit and a wide-brimmed hat.
The celebrations later moved to Sicily. Lipa opened the weekend in a white leather Bottega Veneta halterneck dress. She then appeared at brunch in floral lace by Chloé.

The dress turned the final reveal into a Chanel milestone
Chanel’s Paris ateliers built the backless gown around a fitted silhouette. It featured a two-meter train, layered feathers and crystal embroidery.
Atelier Montex hand-embroidered the dress with 480,000 beads. Lesage added trompe l’oeil jewelry details through 1,155 hours of needlework. Lemarié placed 25,000 feathers beneath the train.
Lipa completed the look with a feathered headpiece and custom white satin Massaro pumps. A six-meter tulle veil carried beads, feathers and hand-cut organza appliqués.
The work was extensive, but the dress never felt overloaded. Its halterneck front remained clean and controlled. Most of the movement came from the low back, long veil and feathered train.
That balance kept the gown close to Lipa’s established style. It also gave the ceremony a distinct bridal image.

Lipa’s wedding fashion moved between several houses. Schiaparelli shaped the London ceremony with tailoring and archival references. Bottega Veneta and Chloé defined the more relaxed moments in Sicily.
